Weststadtcafé, Darmstadt
Signal lamps, switches and passing trains are the backdrop of the Weststadtcafé. Admittedly the place might be quite a bit unusual, but this is exactly the charm of this extraordinary location right in the centre of the urban life. In the light and simple atmosphere of a former railway carriage depot, Darmstadt’s mild summer evenings can now be enjoyed in the seventh year from April to September. A simple, clear gastronomy concept consisting of two bars, one of them outdoors and the other in the almost completely openable interior, creates a metropolitan ambience. Here you can buy your drinks while you can bring your own steak, sausages or vegetables and use one of the barbecues to make you dinner. Enjoy the warm temperatures, the cool drinks, the reunion and the unique atmosphere of the Weststadtcafé. Also the train drivers are happy that they are no longer completely alone in the dark night between Darmstadt and Frankfurt and honk happily to the café visitors.

City Beach, Frankfurt
To the beach, please! But no need to drive out of the city for hours – there is also one in the middle of Frankfurt! Since May 2016 the beach area including two pools, volleyball court and beach chair can be found on a rooftop directly in the city center.
Enjoying the sun during the day, watching the sunset and the skyline: city beach has got everything covered. Either directly after work, for relaxing on weekends, a get-together with friends, or a casual Sunday visit with the family – That’s what we like!

MainWerk³ im Hummelpark, Hochheim am Main
Although MainWerk³ only offers temporary events, this does not detract from the quality – on the contrary. The young winegrowers from the upper Rheingau ring in the weekend in summer and everyone is cordially invited.
Next time it will start on Thursday, September 6, 2018, when „Little Friday“ will be celebrated! The location for this is the Hummel-Park in Hochheim. The „old“ park in a new look creates an idyllic, pre-weekend atmosphere. With lounge beats, Mainwerk³ wines and individual cuisine, the winegrowers give everything to prepare their guests for the weekend.

Blaues Wasser, Frankfurt
Directly on the river in the east of the city there is a location with a great history and a long tradition. The beautiful place on the banks of the Main is equipped with individually designed, offers a cosy open-air restaurant with indoor bar. The grill restaurant is located in the roofed and rainproof outdoor area. In addition to the main bar, they serve cocktails, long drinks and selected wines at the famous red Wandelbar and at the River Bar. From time to time there are summer parties with house music – whether with music or without Blaues Wasser is the location to enjoy your summer evening with cool drinks at the Main.

What beer is like elsewhere in FrankfurtRheinMain are the wines – and where better to enjoy them than in a lounge in Eltville am Rhein? Exactly, nowhere 😉 The wine lounge 1141 in the estate park was built in 2016 on the grounds of the Draiser Hof and offers not only wines from the family-owned winery but also a permanent offer of small meals and homemade cakes – the perfect place for a summer weekend excursion ! While the grown-ups enjoy a glass of wine in the lounge ambience, the children can let off steam in the paradisiacal park or in the sandbox.
